Sarima Ali is an Indian fusion dancer originally from New York City, classically trained in Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi, and Kathak Indian dance styles. Having trained under her beloved guru Sri Anil Kumar, Sarima loves to marry her Indian classical and Bollywood dance background with her obsession for belly dance. After taking a lengthy hiatus from the professional dance world to pursue her chemical engineering career for the last 10 years, Sarima is back to traveling and performing, ready to resume her passion of sharing and celebrating her love of Indian fusion belly dance with the community!
